There are a couple of ways to install the PHP Suhosin patch.

What is the PHP Suhosin Patch?

The PHP Suhosin patch is a protection system created for PHP to protect servers against bad code in the PHP core and PHP applications. It did makes some vulnerabilities in PHP scripts more difficult to exploit.

Install PHP Suhosin using the EPEL Repository

The EPEL Repository, an open-source repository especially created for Linux distributions, offers an excellent way to install the patch.

Steps

To install the PHP Suhosin Patch, you will need to enable the EPEL Repository and then run the following commands:

yum install php-devel
yum install php-suhosin

Depending on your server, you should run one of the following to restart your server

Nginx

service nginx restart

Apache

service httpd restart

Verify Installation

If you want to verify your installation, you can try to run the following command:

php -v

And you will get something like the following:
